will 225 35 18 fit on a 18x8 rim????
I know it is kind of a small tire but i am broke and am about to have a blowout on my front tires and need new ones. a guy here has 2 new for 50bux. will that look okay on the fronts? the car is lowered to so it will look better let me know asap thanks
Most manufacturers recommend a wheel width of 7.5 - 9.0" on that size tire, so its OK with regard to "fitting" on the 8" wheel.
Where you may run into a problem is the fact that it is only 24.2" diameter, about 1.5" smaller than the stock tires. If you put them in the front, you are losing about 3/4" of ground clearance. If you put them in the rear you lose the ground clearance and your speedo will be reading about 6% higher than actual speed, and adding 60 extra miles to your odometer, for every 1000 miles you drive. The gap between the tire and the fender will grow by 3/4" as well.... might look like you are driving on a space-saver spare.
