will 225 35 18 fit on a 18x8 rim????

I know it is kind of a small tire but i am broke and am about to have a blowout on my front tires and need new ones. a guy here has 2 new for 50bux. will that look okay on the fronts? the car is lowered to so it will look better let me know asap thanks

they will fit, but i would look for a bigger tire or at least some bigger sidewalls, potholes will be terrible for that size

what would be your point in wasting that money??? save it until you get the real deal.

Most manufacturers recommend a wheel width of 7.5 - 9.0" on that size tire, so its OK with regard to "fitting" on the 8" wheel.

Where you may run into a problem is the fact that it is only 24.2" diameter, about 1.5" smaller than the stock tires. If you put them in the front, you are losing about 3/4" of ground clearance. If you put them in the rear you lose the ground clearance and your speedo will be reading about 6% higher than actual speed, and adding 60 extra miles to your odometer, for every 1000 miles you drive. The gap between the tire and the fender will grow by 3/4" as well.... might look like you are driving on a space-saver spare.
