Looks good... nice upgrade from the C4's.

Could you provide info regarding the exact size and offset of the wheels, the tire sizes you are running, and any mods required to make them fit. I'm trying to collect data for a wheel & tire FAQ that's "stickied" at the top of the page, and no one seems to want to provide the required data.

TIA!!

sure. im gonna be removing the wheels today to paint my calipers and stuff and i`ll get the wheel size and also the tire size.

i had to hammer in the passengerside inner wheel house because the tire was rubbing on left turns. as far as the bump stops there still on the car and dont seem to rub.

there is something that rubs if i have 4 people in the car and try to turn up a driveway or steep incline or something but this is only if there is 4 people with me, other then that it`s fine

Cool Fred, this is a long time in coming. I'm sure you're tired of the "Fred, will this fit?" questions; now they'll all be answered in one post. However, I'm sure the newbies will still bypass it and post the questions anyway Oh, by the way, my stock 16x8 55m offset SLP Firehawk wheels with 245/50R16 tires fit great on my 1.5" lowered car.......boooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiiinnnnnnggggggg Thanks again Fred

new wheels look great man, but what the hell were you thinking when you got those C4 wheels? Those wheels are ugly. The LT1 surprised me too!

ok heres what i got

front is 17x9 rim with p245/45zr17 tires

rear is 18x10 rim with p27540zr18 tires

im not sure about the offset but they are just stock 2004 corvette c5 rims.
possibly tire rack has the offset and bolt pattern and such.

as far as mods, in the rear on the lower inner wheel house there was a spot that was rubbing that i had to push in with a small hammer. i painted it after so it wouldn`t rust, if you like i can take some pics of that spot so we can all see where it`s at?

also i lowered the car 1 coil up front and 1.5 coils in the rear and still no rubbing.

hope that helped you out some.
jim
