Help with tire selection

I'm installing a turbo this winter on my v6 Camaro and can expect major horsepower gains. I have no interest in purchasing new rims, because I'm quite happy with the chrome 16" I have. However, I am interested in buying new tires. The car will still be my daily driver, however, I would like to take it to the track. The company I'm working with is hoping to achieve the 400 hp mark. Realistically, I'm expecting about 350. They have achieved this using the same engine on other chevrolet cars.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I will be driving this car in the rain.

Thanks
Horde

Re: Help with tire selection

You might want to mention the year of your car, and the width of your 16" wheels. That will govern what's available and what "fits". Appears these tires going to be used on the street regularly, as well as at the strip? That will limit your choises even more.

It is a 98 camaro coupe with the stock 16 inch chrome wheels. I'm not sure of the width, thanks
