Buying rims, some ?'s

Ok, so I've decided on the Motorsport style black C5 Z06 rims. What is the widest rim I can put up front with no problems? Stock ride height, no plans to lower. I was planning on 17x9.5 rims and 275/40zr17 tires all around, will this be all right? Also, what's the best place to buy them? I've seen some pretty good deals on ebay and other web sites, but then theyre not too reputable anyway. Thanks in advance.

The 17x9.5" wide wheels will fit fine, but make sure the offset is in the range of 45-56mm.

The ones I bought have a 54mm offset. I actually found my answer after I posted in a sticky . Thanks Injuneer.

Good to hear you got those rims. How about responding to my messages about the chrome bubbling you failed to mention on the rims you just sold me?

Are you addressing me? Because I have no idea who you are, and I've never sold rims to anyone.

So that would mean you're not greenZ96 on LS1tech, right?
