just FYI.. There are other aluminum driveshafts available other than the LS1 "pretzel" shafts 
, so chill out. I never had a problem w/ my 1le... And once I made more power, I switched to a PST 3.5inch aluminum DS... It performed flawlessly. Plus it's guaranteed for 1400hp
