I'm around from time to time. Black 95 with a Firehawk hood. I also have a 67 Camaro. They are both stock. Pay no attention to the 335s on the Firebird. Those were a "Dealer Installed Option in 95".

Is LT1Tony a professional, if so does he work for himself? I dont care who does it as long as the price is fair and I can trust him to do a nice paint job that will last. When I first got the car it went out and was gone for two years which didnt matter because I couldnt drive at all at the time but when it got back chipped and scratched horribly, none of the trim was taken off, etc. It shouldnt be hard at all though because all the GFX trim is off along with some other junk.

Re: South Bend, Indiana

damn... wish I would have found this thread earlier... im from the middlebury/goshen area, at school now though, Kettering University in Flint, MI. I've had an '83 Berlinetta, an '85 Z28, two '87 IROC-Z's, and a '94 A4 Z28. I'm currently trying to sell my non-Camaro car and get a '94-'96 M6 Z28. My dad also has a yellow '73 Corvette and a black '77 Corvette. I live on US-20 out by Middlebury... you might have seen all of those but the '85 Z28 for sale over the last year or two.

...Anyone want to help me out and buy my Acura Legend? comon... it's a nice car...

hey we're all car guys here... you might enjoy this... I've got 275 pics that i took from the detroit auto show this past weekend. http://photos.yahoo.com/middleburyin (pics of my Legend too )

later!

Did you live past the concrete plant? I think I remember seeing a house that was always selling Camaro's and Corvette's awhile back.

yeah, my house is like 2 miles east of that intersection where the concrete plant is, on the south side of the road. there has also been a dodge durango for sale out there for like a year. last spring one saturday we put 2 camaros, the two vettes, and two of my dads trucks for sale out there, all in a row, it was like a car lot. (the vettes are still for sale by the way )

Awesome...I know which house you live at now...Have to meet up sometime this summer. How do you like Kettering? I thought about going there, but I doubt I'd have the grades to get in.

Re: South Bend, Indiana

kettering is alright, its pretty easy so far, some friends that go to purdue say they are having a real hard time there, so i dunno. the major thing that sucks about kettering is the girl:guy ratio.... its like 1 girl for evey 6 or 7 guys... and half of these girls arent really.. well, i think you get the idea. but i guess its good, theres less distraction this way. im going to try to get a co-op at Pratt & Miller or Lingenfelter, those are my top 2, kinda unlikely, but maybe ill get lucky. later!

That's cool...I do have the distraction at my school....There are a LOT of hot chicks at IUSB. I don't think I'm going to leave here either, I love it here. My mom's cousin said she'd try her hardest to get me a job at GM when I graduate. So I'm hoping that I can get in!

Man... Kettering is pretty much a guarantee into GM. Kettering used to be General Motors Institute. I know that GM employs a helluva lotta co-ops.

I think my dad is going to be asking around $7,000, maybe down to $6,500 each. The 1973 Corvette has an L82 350cid V8 with a 4 speed manual tranny, its yellow, t-tops, it needs some TLC.
The 1977 'vette is also an L82 car, with an auto tranny, its black, has around 50,000 actual miles. This thing is in really good shape (int/ext, mechanically). I drove it about 180 miles up to school here in Flint and had no problems. About a month later my dad and I drove to Canada, then 3 or 4 hours back home. This is a great running/driving car. later!
