Wait you can even drive yet but you can afford a Camaro? Its not hard at all to find a supercharger kit but I would get one unless you are a engine junky, otherwise go n.a or maybe a mid-size shot of nitrous. I am probably about your age and I go to st joe high, I'll have a shot at you this summer.

Re: South Bend, Indiana

rather than putting a blower and other mods on the 3.8, i would just save towards a V8 swap or getting a z28 in the future.

btw... did they stop teaching English at Washington

Re: South Bend, Indiana

hey, what car do you have? Just out of curiousity... Yea, if it came to me getting a bigger engine, I'd just sell my car (the paintjob would sell it mostly) and buy a Z, because we do engine swaps in Auto Shop, and I'll tell you, it isn't the most fun thing to do, stuff breaks, and there is always a problem somewhere... I found a supercharger from RKSport, its in consideration if I can get it under $1,800...and if not, I'll just wait until the end of summer and buy a Z28..... OOO and Chevyguy3, what did you mean about the english thing? btw, Im not ghetto, PURE WHITE IN AND OUT!!! lol

Wish i would have gotten in on this earlier! I drive the 30th mentioned before. Whats up Darren, haven't talked to any of you guys in awhile...busy saving money down at school so after I get my debts settled i can buy tires! Sitting on two rear flats right now. You still getting that bike you were talking about? And Kyle...are you Sherri's boyfriend...just wondering who you were, assuming that's you since you know Mike.

Re: South Bend, Indiana

Greg actually doing something to his car...I have a hard time believing that But yeah I heard about Jon's car...all he'll need now is a rearend. Oh well, I'm used to being the slowest. Jon has already sworn that I will never beat him. I'll just settle for being slow i guess. You'll have to let me know what Greg is doing, I haven't heard anything about mods from him. Is Derek finally gonna spray that thing...I know that motor wants it. Oh and those wheels would be awesome, too bad its broke old me...

Re: South Bend, Indiana

on top of all the other work, now im also putting the heads and intake from my black car on Jons motor since it turned out he has a head gasket starting to leak so the heads would have to come off anyways. will be good to get his compression down some and increase quench at the same time too. wont make it run as strong as we could since he cares more about reliability and driving manners. turns out his blower got screwed up too, so ive got to try to weld up the damage and then grind and polish the shaft back down to shape around the keyway without putting too much heat on the bearing seals. fun fun fun

for gregs car, im putting the headers and y-pipe from my car on it, doing OVC plug wires, changing differentials since his is trashed, and now hes going to be getting the LT4 heads and intake from Jons car.

derek has quite a bit going on. got some sweet Simmons wheels for his car now. hes also putting in a better tranny, changing headers and exhaust, and im going to put some different piston rings in the motor for him. hopefully then he can come up with some $ to spray the **** out of it. that motor deserves it

We'll see if sometime this summer when i start making some good income again if I can pull something out of my *** for them, for now its paying debts and saving for tires...can't get the car out till i do that

Hey Tony, whats going on. School is alright...school work will always suck though. I'll be graduating in a semester so I can move on to actually getting paid for doing something. I'm anxious for some real income. How do you like your new place of residence, i just recently found out that you moved. Hope to see you still be out and about a little this summer.

Re: South Bend, Indiana

you guys are all too afraid to lose. if you want to make sure he doesnt spray, just have him pull the bottle first. should be a good run though as long as you are on good tires like he is now

or just make enough power to blow by him smoking the tires regardless of how much he sprays. worked for me . never got to play with him, Tony or any of the other guys once i finally got mine running right at the end of the summer though

yeah, i am in kind of over my head with work this winter. hasnt helped that ive been sick lately and havent gotten to work on things as much as i want to. have to go pull my 383 bottom end apart now to check things out and change the bearings too so looks like Jons car wont get touched tonight or tomarrow

Re: South Bend, Indiana

Hey Chris,

Yeah i'm living out here in Illinois next to Joliet and work out of OakBrook.
It's definitely a change but i'm still getting used to it. My home is really nice and big and the garage is huge. Nice to finally have all my cars and toys under one roof. I'll still be around in the summer since i'll be coming back into town to dj and not to mention i'll have every other Friday off from work. We'll all have to get together and cruise around.
I'm also planning on doing a little racing at RT. 66 Joliet.

Since you'll be finishing with school soon, are you going to be moving back to S.B. or elsewhere?

Darren, Chirs who are you guys talking about not spraying and how did I get involved into being too afraid to lose unless you were just talking to Chris. I'm always up for a good race and I really don't care if lose. I love good races like we had that one night Darren.

Darren, do you still have those chrome 5 spokes for sale still?
What's Jon hoping to run now Darren?
