well my dads 2.8L went to **** over the hast few days, and now were going to do a cheap swap to a 3.1. i found a complete 3.1 close to where i live and were gonna go pick it up. will it just drop right in and work 100%with all of my 2.8 stuff? it an 88 camaro, and the motor is from a 91 RS with 56k miles on it.

will the tranny, and all the wiring and hoses all work togeather? i used to have a 3.1 RS and i think i remember that their the same except for the heads or something.

or if anyone has a 3.4 for under $400
