car doesnt crank
ok i have a 3800 v6 2002 camaro and lately my car is having a problem sometimes when i go to turn on the car the electronics will all turn on but the car wont start it doesnt crank or nothing so i have to do is wait a couple of minuets and then itll start perfectly fine does anyone know what is wrong and know how to fix it?
Since there's no way at this point to tell from the limited info given, specifically that its a fuel or ignition problem, you need to post on the V6 Tech forum for a more general discussion. I'lll move the post there for you.
Could be the VATS,(vehicle anti theft system) there is a pellet on the key with a resistor,if the pellet gets dirty or damaged your car will not start.
Clean it with some alcohol and swab the ignition switch as well.

Most commonly this is a bad starter. If you can start it by twisting the key on and holding it there for a few seconds (usually it takes 3-5 times of this) then it's a bad starter. Otherwise, could be the battery. I've seen cars with bad batteries where the accessories work great and so do the headlights; all this without the motor on.
If when you crank it there's a lot of noise but no start it's the battery. Unlikely here since you said nothing happens--probably starter.
