Nitrous

tell me everything you guys know about nitrous. im thinking of putting a kit on my car, nos-05175. it is a75-100 shot. i want to just use it at 75 shot. how much did u guys pay for it and pay to get it installed. my car is stock besides a muffler and k&n panel filter. i dont really know too much about nos but im trying to learn all i can and its cheaper than buying a z and ill still get decent gas milage and insurance. is nos completely safe if used in the right way? i plan on mounting the bottle between the back seats. what all comes with the kit? do i need a new fuel pump to go with it, i know that some kits come with a nos fuel pump. guys, just tell me everything you know so i can be safe and have fun while getting the most out of it. thanks

GET TNT OR NX THEY ARE TWO THAT RTE THEIR POWER AT THE HEELS FOR INSTANCE A 100 SHOT OF NOS WOULD GIVE LESS HP TO THE WHEELS THAN NX AND TNT, sorry for caps

Aye it is the best bang for yer buck and I second bluecamaro's statement get tnt or nx (most like the wet kit) and when when getting the system get it all including the purge, I do not know that much about nitrous but you can go to the n20 tech and learn a lot... I know it is not much but it is a start :P ohh btw nitrous in pretty safe if used right, and yes it will find your cars weakness and and give it hell

Cool

Wait a little while for nitrous. You should never pay anyone to install nitrous for you.You need to learn all you can about it and install it yourself, that way you know everything about how it interacts with your engine.OK,now with that said.Go to the nitrous sections here,at LS1.com,and at FirebirdV6.com and read, read, read until your eyes hurt. Also like other people have said,NX and TNT seem to be beefier kits than the NOS.Good luck.
Kevin

Edit: I had a 100hp shot of NX on my 1995 3.4 Camaro. It worked fine and caused no problems for the 2 years I had it on there. My car was ALWAYS kept in tune though. So you can't just throw on a nitrous kit and forget about it.It's constant inspection and tuning.Good luck again

it's not expensive to install nitrous, I have a shop that told me around $200-$275 for the install if I buy the kit from them, I think I'm getting ready to go for it. too, I guess I'll go for the 75 shot, you might as well go for it, I don't think an extra 25 on top of 250 will make much differnence.
