I think he's full of it. His story has more holes than swiss cheese.

I honestly dont think you are trying to pull crap over on anyone. Im really starting to think that the moron you raced was a ricer talker. Again I really think it was a lancer with spray...that you probably could take care of no problem.
I'm starting to agree with this too, still could have been the world's worst Evo driver too who knows. I know the ricers love to say they have "NOS" when they actually don't have anything. As I mentioned before a favorite term for the ricer boys is "naaaws". And since he didn't show you anything...

But in any rate, if it did happen, I'm glad to showed him what our cars can do. Welcome to the forums Sand Predator, don't let the arguments get your back up too bad...alot of us like to argue

Isnt a spoon engine something out of the Honda S2000 cars? Only time I've ever heard the word spoon when it comes to cars lol.

Spoon Sports is a Japanese tuner, primarily (exclusively?) of Hondas. The odds of anyone here having a true Spoon engine vs. just an engine with some Spoon parts is a long shot. In any case, I don't care how "powerful" a naturally aspirated Honda engine is, it's still most likely "kind of quick" -maybe 100 mph traps - rather than fast. There's only so much you're going to do with 1.6-1.8 liters in an automobile, at least in daily driver (not just a frame & seats) form.

The race you described does sound much more like a sprayed Lancer rather than an Evo. Some models start with ~ 170hp so even a 50 shot would put him with a stock LT1, especially at altitude. The fact that you weren't staring at tail lights at the start pretty much tells you it isn't an Evo, or he really can't drive.
