Played with a SCION - What!!

I was on one of the larger 400 series highways up near Toronto scooting along in my LT1 and I see this little silver SCION looking to play along with me. I decide to floor it to show him what the LT1 can do. I'm pulling away from this SCION as expected but nearly as quickly as I expected. As I hit about 115mph I still see this car behind me (quite far but still visible).

Surprise surprise its a quick little thing.

Anyone know what these things are all about? My guess is it would have to be their flagship sporty models. Lots of quick little cars out there

Good kill. Im from Toronto and there are lots of little import cars playing in this city. There arent too many Scions in Canda (ive only seen a handful of xB's - the funny looking wagon things, but none of their other models). Im surprised you didnt leave him more than you did... their top model only has 160 hp.

Says they have one that runs 15.1 stock. Maybe this was it? I dunno much about them so I can't say. It wasn't much of run but still I was surprised that it did as well as it did.

I'm likely running mid to low 13's with what I have. Slight stronger than stock but not much.

You noticed that the car in the article that ran the 15.1 was equiped with an "aftermarket" TRD supercharger, right? I dont believe they are available from the showroom floor with one of those bolted on.

I had one of those little things revving at me in my TBSS. It had a bunch of stickers on it and the big fart can exhaust.
After letting him have the jump, I hit it and blew by him....

Those little Scions TC's are always messing with me. I usually ignore them, but lately I've given in and blown all their doors off too. It's rediculous.
