can they get you for speeding, while moving?........There really isn't a confirmed speed

 

Up here i am starting to see a bunch of troopers driving new Yukons. they catch you off guard very easy.

 

Yep, they sure can.... there a couple different setting on the radar detectors one for oncoming traffic and one for traffic that they are following or traffic that is following them...

 

I was with a friend when he rec'd a ticket for speeding, but as for the method of obtaining his speed, the police called it "pacing". They didn't get him on radar, I guess they just followed him and looked at their speedometer.

 

I had a situation similar, but was @ night. I was driving on bi=pass when bright lights came up on me and rode my *** for about a mile, did the ole fashion brake check and lights came on . After a minute of arguing w/ trooper about riding my ***, my friend ( also a state trooper)pulled up to see what was going on and I was let off.
