AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about, both cars were quite fast. If my car was that fast I'd probably trailer it places as well just in case parts broke, and at that power level I would expect things to break on either car. I'd honestly like to have either one, whether it be a fast late model Evo, or a first gen Camaro street bruiser. Once again I don't see what all the fuss is about- a fast import gets taken to walkedville on the street (from a roll at that) and some new troll has to come out of the woodwork to defend it and talk about Honda's while he's at it

Rats!
Thought I had something...
Anyway I'm sure they share the same setup (engine wise of course).
Very nice though.
You guys are good E-detectives.
I still don't see how one guy with alot of money (obviously) that races cars with less HP and video tapes it... can become so infamous?

Ahh, Chris and his infamous EVO. Both Chris and Bryan (Camaro owner) are from Florida near Pensacola. The EVO is insanely fast, but what do you expect when you drop $20-25k on a 2.3L stroker engine and everything AMS offers? Including the $30k+ he paid for the car, he's $50k deep in it.
Bryan, on the other hand, has WAY less than $10k invested in his car. It's a 412" SBC with a ton of spray. Nothing is outrageous or one-off custom parts on the car. Yes, it has a Powerglide, yes it has exhaust (bullet muffs), yes it is tagged and insured, yes the lights work. It's damn near 40 years old and those of you who have owned cars from the 60's know the wiring isn't the best! It was trailered in as they had just left the track with it and had five people. Five people in a new full size truck is a tad more comfortable than five people in a '67 Camaro with no A/C
Anyway, thought I'd drop in and dispel as many myths as I could. www.racingpensacola.com/forums is where both Chris and Bryan hang out as are all of the cars Chris has run on video and most of the content for the srvidz videos.
Hehehe... I jumped over here this morning to gather overheating info and ran into this

the EVO owners comment
"Dude I know your a hardcore domestic but what video were you watching? I know I lost but give me a break you act like there were 10 or 20 bus lengths I think I did fairly well (yes I lost) and you best believe that my car is nowhere near done. The newfangled technology is the fact that my car looks, drives, handles, and has all the creature comforts that it came with and still being able to hang with a "perdominately dragcar" and also on a sidenote I had a 68 camaro ss/rs w/454 yadayadayada. Like I said from the begining there is always someone faster but your more than welcome to come see if your car is?"
he is working on a better setup it seems.
