But the marines are the best!!! If I was the best and had to take s*** from the less elite military forces I would be seen as beeing big headed too, maybe just give them their due respect and they wouldn't seem that way.

wtf? You dont demand respect, you earn it. EVERY branch has my respect. Sure the Marines know how to kill. So does the Army. But they use the whole "brawn before brains" strategy. I really cannot construe where this whole "Marines=badass" rumor emanated from.

I never said the Corps does the "cool stuff", so once again you twist and contort what I say......pathetic and expected from a tool as yourself. The Army as well as the other branches, have a much more diverse selection of........in your case....."MOS's". The Corps is a combat based branch, and we are the best in that area, very cut and dry. The Army has their specialties as we do, as every branch does.

You sure did say the Corps does the cool stuff. You said you guys do all the killing and blowing **** up, while the Army cooks food and play's x-box. I understand that the Marines are based upon combat.. but that doesn't diminish that fact that your ways of training, your ways of fighting, and your ways of thinking aren't flawed. Granted everybody's got them. But the Marines simply don't have the "brains" portion of it all down. "Train SMART, not hard" a Staff-Sergeant Marine-to-Army reclass once told me. This is why he left the Marines. They do the opposite. They use their large heads and "brawn" to get things done. Ya, it make take Marines 14 weeks to finish Basic.. and it may take the Army 14 weeks to finish Basic and AIT for Infantry.. but who's training smart, and who's training hard.

I'm not going to sit and go round and round with you. You are a un-happy Marine and you make in obvious. I don't care who will win with your $500 pos. It will be a pos worth nothing that runs great. WOW. I like style with speed, and maybe a little value to go along with it. I will have a good looking, fast and reliable car that I will pick up some ***** along the way with, while you will have a rusty pos that runs at the track and looks like a guy from a trailer lent you. No doubt brother, we all go through it. I went through it for 18 mos. I understand what you feel. I guarantee you, you will look back and remember the Corps for what is really is...at least I did. My girl and I send alot of **** yalls way, so if you need anything.....you bes let me know! I enjoy my car as I am happy you enjoy yours....that's what life is all about. Just remember, there is a reason for all this and we do support yall back here....okay?
PS: the people who are reading this are probably like WTF...weren't they just arguing and now they are like best buds..if they only knew what the corps entails...haha just a typical day for us eh?

I have more Army-men say how lame and un-organized the Army is, than I have EVER heard a Marine complain. Btw, we finish basic in 6 1/2-7, then we go to combat training...then MO school. Basic is basic, CT is CT. Yes, is all reality CT is our basic, which is what makes the Corps differ from the rest. My point exactly. You don't receive our "basic" CT unless you are of an Infantry or SF unit in the other branches, I rest my case. Whatever I'm done arguing as we are obviously getting nowhere. You guys "train" for so damn long because your too busy getting smoked, scrubbing floors with boot brushes, and asking permission to use the bathroom. That's your idea of "smart" training. When we train, it's in the field, with our weapons, it's PT, it's weapons training and maintenance, it's bivouacing, etc. We dont dickf*ck around like you guys.

Well i thought you were a reasonable person until this statement, obviously, YOU are the one without a ****in clue. I've never scrubbed the floors with a boot brush..its called field day and it happens every sunday.. we sweep and mop like a regular person does..its to teachs attention to detail. "getting smoked" is for endurance training. we call it "I.T" I was what you would call a "quarterdeck king" it was a daily occurance for me. We trained with weapons in boot camp. Then we go on to MCT (3 weeks of solid field training, for non infantry MOS's) and then to our MOS school ("tech school"..mine was 6 months long and i basically got an A&P license FYI) or ITB (8 weeks of infantry training) and move to the field. Every day consists of field exercises if you're a grunt, its not all about getting smoked and doing stupid **** ALL the time. And as far as weapons training and maintenance, i could probably disassemble an m4, m9, mk19, 50 cal, 240g, and a saw and put them all back together before you could even tell which one was which. So...dont get tooo hot headed about you're "superior training". In the beginning i tried not to sound like i was better, but if you want to start assuming things, that you obviously dont know anything about, well then im gonna have to put you in you're place...soo spc dumb****...army of one...go **** you're self
And I am speaking from some too-big-a-headed Marines that tell and brag about "what the corps is all about". So in essence, I am not "assuming" **** or "guessing" on ****. I am speaking on behalf of YOUR brothers.
