The Current Fox I own has only the couple bolt ons and I ran it right before the track closed down and turned a 8.83 @ 79 mph in the 1/8th ...not too shabby for any car on street tires.

The Foxes can be lethal fast if modded correctly as I think Mike92LX is currently in the low 11s and looking for 10s in the 1/4. I have not spoke with him in quite a while though.

Bull****. Mikey92Lix is now in a mental institution. His alter ego got the best of him. Now he's running his wheel chair up and down the chemo trail

Good kill.
I believe elevation in your part of the world killed ET's. My old *** Mark VIII stock ran similar times with an open 3.07 rear and 4236 weight with me in it (14.651 at 97.21).

i read someone saying "what about the Lightning"... what about it? Yes, it's a fast PICKUP, but by no means is it some unstoppable force of nature that LT1's or LS1's cant contend with... i've beat a couple, and no not all of them were stock. The 05' GT? Taken them as well... The LT1 is a very underatted engine by to many people. I have taken multiple LS1 cars, Z28, SS, WS6's, Corvettes.. believe it or not the LS1 is not unstoppable, neither is the GT by any means. The Mach 1? Well i've raced one and he stomped me.. but i cant say all of them would.. i've been in alot of races, most of which i "should" have lost just because i have the LT1, but didnt because it is actually fast... so believe what you want, ive taken multiple "big dogs" and am proud of it...

Brian, how is it that almost everytime you post a thread with a vid... regardless of the message board, it turns into a steaming pile of poo?

I still want you to run Cody's 05' GT... he is thinking low 12's, I'm thinking mid to high 12's. Either way, feed him a nasty holeshot N/A and it should be a good race.

I guess I am beating cars that I shouldnt. Or lying about my mods
Give it until a few weeks into the new year, and I will be up for it.

I know you're down for it, but I can never get him to the track. Always an excuse... I honestly think he has a 12 second car, but not deep 12's.

And I would like to see the time slips of the Mach 1 running a 13.3 all day long. I raped one of those turds from a dead stop by about 4-5 cars. That is not a close race.

I wish this guy would stfu...he acts like he drives a supercar or something. I bet that raggedy lt1 of his is all beat to hell and looks like dog ****.

I raced a friend of mine in his stock 05 GT 5 speed and I had a CAI on my 97 with 2:73's. I beat him bye a tenth and trapped the same as he did. It was damn close. 13.7 me 13.8 him

I noticed you said you heave beaten a few LS1's and not all of them stock. What mods did these LS1's have? With your mods my My LS1 would have demolished you in its pure stock form. This is not a partial respose either because As of last week I not longer have an LS1. I just sold it to my best friend and kept the LT1. I love my 97 and it hauls ****. But I have owned many LT1's and only 2 ls1's and I can tell you my stock M6 LS1 was faster then my cammed LT1. Not saying they are unstoppable but mod for mod There really is no comparison. My Automatic LS1 ran a 13.4 stock on street tires. The fastest LT1 I have owned to date mod for mod is my 97 wich managed a 13.701 with just CAI and a muffler. But I also had a 95 formy that ran a 14.3 with a CAI and a muffler" same setup as my 97 exactly"
The M6LS1 managed a 13.2 on its first pass bone stock at the track with a megar 2.2 60 foot time and trapped 108. With the free ram air mod and a catback a easily ran a ran a 13.0@109 on street tires with a 2.1 and a 2.2 60. Street tires no suspension or anything with 2 small mods.

Some LT1s end up overated but alot of them are right on target and the 05 GT is decent for what it is.

^ My Bone stock 00' A4 car w/ crap 2.73's ran a best of 13.46 @ 104 - 26K miles on the clock. That wasn't even in great air, it was in late august... still hot & humid here in FL that time of year.

My friend's G92 optioned 93' Z28 went 13.70 @ 101.3 with free mods, !cat, muffler, K&N drop in filter, BBK crank pulley, and an air foil.

By far, not saying LT1's are crap... but when I hear of an "LS1 killer" LT1 car, I like to see for myself.

The thread starter is a very good friend of mine. We can vouch for each other about mods/times, etc. I'm not an LT1 hater at all...

Any timeslips to back that up?

Nope...just bought the car...but I guess the over 4000 1/4 passes...numerous cars I have owned and raced...seen them dyno 280/300 to the wheels stock....must mean nothing...must mean I have no concept of how a car runs...

My first time at the track only netted 14.7. I later on got down to 14.1.

After mods, I'm knocking on the #12 door, but without DRs, I'm not able to cut my 60's below 2.2.

If you have a ~14.0 second LT1, it would only stand to reason that a ~300 HP GT is going to beat it. If it didn't, then something would (almost ) be wrong. No need for timeslip verification for that one. And he didn't say "specifically" what time, just "mid 13's" ..... that's reasonable .
