Removal of Brake Booster??
I haven't really looked at my LT1 yet, but my LS1 and V6 were the same. 2 nuts hold it to the firewall, that's it. They are on either side of the booster. Should only take about 2 minutes to pull it out.
you first have to take off the brake fluid resevior wich is only held on by two bolts. Once thats off your going to have to go inside the car probably lay on your stomach and on the driver side near the brake pedal bolts you'll see two nuts with studs sticking through them. You'll also the the brake pedal connected to this as well. This is were the brake booster is clamped at te fire wall. Its kind of a pita but its not hard.
In the engine compartment you remove the two nuts that hold the master brake cylinder to the brake booster and detach the vacuum line going to the intake manifold. Under the dash, first you remove the little retaining clip thing that attaches the brake pedal to the piston (for lack of a better term) that goes into the brake booster. Then remove the four nuts from the studs coming through the firewall from the brake booster. They are a real pain to get to and the studs are fairly long.
