If its a z28 I think you already have posi but if there is any doubt, check to see if you are leaving two black strips down the pavement.

The "positraction" limited slip differential is standard equipment on all V8 4th Gens.

What "great tires" do you have? ....brand, model and size? What wheels are you running? ....stock or aftermarket?

Do you have any suspension mods at all? Is your car stock ride height or lowered?

Are you racing on a prepped track, or on the street?

Sticky tires, tubular LCA's with LCA relocation brackets, a tubular panhard rod would be a good start. With enough HP, the torque arm may need to be upgraded to one that allow you to adjust the pinion angle.

What rear axle assembly are you running? ... stock 10-bolt, or an aftermarket rear (12-bolt, 9-inch, or Dana 60)? What gear ratio are you running? Do you have a high-stall converter?

What kind of HP is the engine making? "allot" doesn't really tell us anything.

Almost impossible to tell you what you need to do to improve traction, without all the details about the car.

Its possible to hook up really well with a stock-style suspension, modified with upgraded parts. But there is no way a rear-wheel drive car will ever "go as if I had 4 wheel drive".

Why not add a "signature" with basic info about your car?
