Ok i know this has been mentioned alot but please chime in (steering problems)

I have read alot of stories under the search and noticed that the Rag Joint elminator might be the way to go.

I have alot of play in steering 1.5"-2" and its scary. Yes i have Hooker LT headers. Have had them on now for 4 years. So im thinking this is the problem "Rag Joint" is out.

Also i do hear a popping noise when turning the steering wheel now. Never use to do that but lately it has been making that popping sound.

Is it the Rag Joint causing this or could it be something else?

I went and did the test where i had someone turn the steering enough to not move the wheels and i saw the colum move back and fourth all the way down to the rack. Would this be the rag joint as well?

I already ordered that piece from that site.
