which bolts for my hooker shorties?

The stock exhaust manifold bolts are difficult to use on my hooker shortie headers. ARP makes stainless bolts, but has anybody used a allen key or torx bolt instead? Any recommendations? Also, is the stock exhaust manifold gasket OK for the header?

I'm running Stage 8 locking bolts with anti sieze and Earls gaskets with those headers. No problems. Stage 8s allow you to use either a wrench or an allen wrench.

I suggest using those locking type that if they loosen a little the have a thing that hits the primary tube and stop it from loosening anymore. Also use anti-seize on them it will keep them from freezing up in there and also keep them from vibrating loose. Also if you are going to use one of those aluminum or crush type gaskets make sure you crush the gasket down not just torque to spec. (something Mr. Goodwrench doesn't know) Long story.......
