$2500, what should i do next? maybe H/C.....

been saving some cash since i did my 3000 TC install, i managed to save a lot of cash. now i thought i only had enough for some LT's, gears, and a tune, but i found out i had a lot more. im thinking of just getting the LE2 h/c package and get it tuned real well, but what should i do to prepare for it? i really want to get the H/C then afterwards do the LT's and all the suspension. what would you guys recommend? also how's the price on the AI and LE2 packages? how well would they be for a daily driver? anyone who has done the swap, what was the total price for everything? should i start saving for a 12 bolt, tranny, fuel pump, injectors, and suspension? thanks for any help

I just asked about the same question, the responses I got were you need about 3g to get a LE2 H/C package (1600), then all the rest of the stuff you need, injectors, fuel pump, pushrods, rockers, and any thing else that might come up.

my standard answer is go have a hell of a time at the gentelmens club and maybe get a tattoo. Then when you are driving your car thinking about mods you can at least have a big smile on your face remembering said outing and be happy in the fact you got a stock car. Oh yeah check the oil, least you did something to the car!

Maybe get a 12 bolt or 9" so you can run slicks(especially w/ that stall). No real point making huge power if you cant hook it up, and watch the ETs drop.

In my opinion i think the hot cam stage is a waste of money. Your going to see 330rwhp and that is fine if that is what you are shooting for and is a daily driver. But if you want to make some big ponies i would just skip over it and do the LE2 pakage. If you did the work yourself i am pretty sure you could get it done for 2500. The LE2 pakage with the cam is 1600, so you would have 900 for injectors and a tune and some of the other stuff that adds up. Might be a little short, but will be worth spending a little more $$$ and you'll be making 60rwhp more than the hot cam.
