96 z28, need help setting up a CME.
whats up, im looking to upgrade my whole entire exhaust system from the headers all the way back. I have been looking online for different exhaust setups and came across these stainless steel CME tips made by 6ledesigns.com. In my opinion they look bada$$! I want to make my car look like this with the tips shooting out the middle ( i must purchase a valence bumper ) but i am wondering what exhaust setup can i run with these tips? would i need a specific setup? Or can i use any setup of my choice, for example: Hooker shorty headers, stock cats ( im in california ), hooker or other y-pipe and a hooker catback pr flowmaster cat back but instead have these tips. Any info? https://www.google.com/search?q=az2e...ih=460&dpr=1.5

You need 90-degree bends to route the stock straight pipe to the center mount tips:

The stock pipes coming from the muffler will probably need to have the stock tips cut off, to shorten them, and allow the 90-deg bends to fit on them. A good exhaust shop could probably adapt the outlets of the cross-flow muffler you opt for in your new exhaust system.
