Re: and so it begins!

LT1 Engine Tech is almost impossible to access. Just keep clicking on it and goes nowhere - at the point where I go to another site and respond to a few tech questions while waiting for LT1 tech to load. Can take 5 minutes.

Moving a thread on the moderator screen never completes. Have to close the window, reopen CZ28.com and look at the forum I was on to verify the thread actually moved - it always has moved, but the system left me locked up in the move screen.

In the 13 years I've been on this site, most of them as moderator, I've never seen it so slow and unfriendly. Maybe time to move on. It's totally unacceptable.

I'm frustrated as hell here too. Please have just a little more patience folks. I've heard that IB should be fixing this problem once and for all this week with upgrades on their end.

Yep, that's what Nolan told me. Hopefully that does the trick.

But we went through all this 2 months ago on the Admin/Moderator forum, and nothing has improved.

On my end, most of the packet loss is coming from ae-31-80.car1.losangeles1.level3.net (4.69.144.131).

I'm seeing consistent packet loss and no response from that hop.

Sorry for the delay guys but the site should be running on all 8 cylinders now

Just did some speed tests here and got consistent 2-3sec page loads which is abnormally quick even for the office PC.

Let me know if there is a difference felt these next couple days or if we should go back to our cave and tune it some more.

Not only is it still slow, but now the pages just don't look right. There's all sorts of empty spacing on most of the board.

Sorry to say...you've killed this site.

I'm not surprised at that issue if they moved the site to a different server last night. That said, since I closed my browser last night and got rid of the missing image issue, it's been running quick. Normally when I refresh the Lounge first thing in the morning it's horribly slow, but it was 3-4 seconds this morning.

BTW, if you guys are still having the image problem this morning make sure you've closed your browser recently and if that doesn't work clear your cookies. Everything should be fine after that.

The same thing started for me yesterday morning.

I really hope there's some missing context to this response, because I don't really think a 2-3 second load time should be described as "abnormally quick." Especially for a site with the user base of this forum...

Site's definitely still running like crap. Just took 30 seconds to refresh this page.

And still no images, even after restarting my browser.
