Meguiars #26 or NXT Wax?
My black SS is sitting in the garage waiting to be waxed. Here is what I have done so far:
1. Washed with dawn
2. Mother's Clay Bar
3. dawn again
4. Meguiars #9 scratch and swirl remover (2coats)
5. Meguiars #7 show car glaze (1 coat) Should I do two coats?
The paint is about as clean and swirl free as I can get it.
I already have a 3/4 full bottle of Meguiars #26 High Tech Yellow wax. I am tempted to try the new NXT stuff.
What do you guys think? Should I use the #26 that I have or switch to the NXT?

I absolutely love NXT! I have always liked meguiars products but this tops them all! It doesnt apply any different than other liquid waxes but after 15 minutes it wipes off like butter, even easier than butter.
Not true. NXT does provide a beautiful deep rich shine. I just washed and waxed my red SS this weekend, and its never looked better. I had swirl marks on the hood which I thought I would need to use remover on. I didn't bother and just applied the wax. NO MORE SWIRL MARKS. I've never seen a shinier, smoother finish. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
I ended up using the NXT. I am pleased with the results. As everyone stated it went on easy and came off easy. It left the paint with a mirror-like shine.
I would say the most important factor with any wax is the amount of prep work done before applying the wax. My car stays in the garage and I usually only drive it on weekends in the summer. Before last week, it had been two years since I waxed the car or did anything besides wash it. I had about 15 hours of work into washing, clay bar, swirl remover, and polish before I was ready to wax. I was a little bit concerned after I was done polishing, because the car didn't quite have the shine I was hoping for. One coat of NXT finished off all my hard my hard work and made it shine pretty good. So basically, you shouldn't expect any wax to perform miracles by itself.
The car wasn't in real good shape when I started, but it came out pretty good. I got quite a few comments at our local cruise night this past Saturday.
