I just got my car back from the bodyshop and there is some clearcoat overspray on my rims and lower nose. A friend of mine said a clay bar should take care of it. Is this true? Ive used the Zaino clay bar before but never for overspray. Thanks...

 

Yep I got some overspray off my bumper with it it'll work for wheels, glass, and plastic.

 

Works like a charm, I should know I have done paint work the last 2 winters and oversprayed mine and my brothers cars both years

 

Meguires sells a clay bar currently for overspray.

 

Yeah, but does it leave residue and fall apart like the other cheapo claybars?

 

Not in the 20 times I have seen it used in the demostrations that the Reps around here put on. The key is to use spray then to use the bar (something like their final finish thats going to help keep that area clean & at the same time moist while using the bar.)
