I sprayed some degreaser on my motor in an attempt to clean everything, and foolishly sprayed my polished aluminum valve covers too. Now they have brown streaks on them. I tried Mothers aluminum polish, to no avail. Someone recommended Wenol, while another person I talked to said the Mothers polish was about the same.

What can I use to get them back to polished look again?

You will probably need to remove them and take them to a buffer wheel with some trippoli compound followed up with some white rouge.
