Permit driving

We had great weather late in the week and I put a permit on the hawk for a couple of days. What fun, I even took the t-tops off thursday afternoon. I cruised downtown, went shopping, got prices on the car stereo install and smoked two stangs and a beamer on the way home. Gotta love the Vancouver weather compared to the rest of Canada.

Man, with the weather last weekend I was so tempted to drop $100 on a permit and gas I'm itching to hear that classic SBC rumble again.

I ran permits on my car all of last summer.

Saved me about 150 bucks in the end.

It's a bit of an iconvenience but there's an insurance place only a block away from my house that's open 7 days a week - from 8am to 8pm.

I don't think I'll be going that route this year.
I'll pay the extra just so I can drive whenever I want.

I'd love to see that. I suppose when my 02 bird goes in for insurance I'll have to air-care it. This bird is stealth quiet and I'd like a nice loud roar too. Time for longtubes headers soon. Back in 96 when I took my 95 TA into air-care a small crowd formed around the car when I opened the hood. I don't see what the big deal was cause it was a bone stock LT1.
