What would happen if I ran platinum plugs with nitrous?

I know running Platinum plugs is not recommended, but what would happen if I did?

I just replaced the factory plugs with Bosch Platinum’s gapped to factory spec. What would happen if I ran a 100shot with those in?

Thanks,
Jason

I am not sure, but it might go BOOM due to preignition. Platinum plugs run hot, that why they aren't recommended for nitrous applications.

Actually you will melt the platinum right off the plugs. And if they have the little platinum "pucks" they could possibly beat up a valve seat....although that is extremely rare.
And if the the little "puck" falls off..the gap gets increased GREATLY.

I sprayed twice with Plat plugs, and they were for maybe 5 seconds each (just setting up the system) and 6-8 plugs had no platinum.
