Post Any thoughts as to adding a Canadian forum?

I know there are lots of f-bodies here in my area of SW Ontario. I just feel like I get kinda lost in the shuffle on the Great Lakes/MI forum. No one knows where the heck we're located even though we're really close to Toronto (in the Waterloo Region). Perhaps an Ontario section just on a trial basis? I go to some of the same venues as the MI folks, but people don't realize just how close we really are and thus don't respond to my messages...at least I THINK that's why.

I'd love to hook up with other enthusiasts in the area and get an f-body club going here. I think there's a real otential for that at camaroz28.com.

Just my thoughts,

Tracey

Ultimately it's up to Jason or Chris, but I'd like to see one. We do have quite a few members from Southern Ontario.

Also, it would give the Vancouver boys and place to talk as well.

I was just coming in here to suggest that myself, it would be nice to have a forum where we can talk to all the other canadians.
I have a question right now that i would like to get feedback from canadans on, but if i post in the MI section no one will see it and if i post in the lounge it will only get offtopic replys from the canada bashing people before it is bumped off the first 3 pages

Well the drive isn't too long, but weekends have been busy for me all summer. When is it anyways?

I sent the info to the hotmail address on your profile as well. The show is Aug,24th from 12 noon to 4pm. It's at 272 Weber St N, Waterloo. It's in the lot of the Part Source there. They're also hoping for toy donations. I'll have my 84 Zed there and my fiance is bringing his 97 RS. We have a friend with a 95 Firehawk who hoping to attend as well and a couple we know with a 67 Firebird is considering attending too. It's not all f-bodies, but as youc an see, there will be a number of them there.

Tracey

P.S. If you need directions, let me know.

Yeah, I don't do a very good job of emptying that.

Someone asking 'bout me?

Anyways, I support the motion for a Canadian forum... YOu'll probably get more members on the board from Canada if they feel there is a point.

On most message boards, everything is in US locations for US dollars... it can be quite discouraging. The reality is that there are tons of FBody enthusiasts north of the border.

HOpe to see one soon.

I also think there's no regional one for where I am... The closest is the Pacific Northwest regional, but I'm way on the other side of the Rockies, in Alberta.

The Pacific Northwest Forum is where we vancouver boys hang out. Actually, it was originally a vancouver forum, but we had the name changed to include the entire region.
