NOS won't work!!!!!
Ok, I purged the system, i've got 1000 psi (just filled the tank), and the solenoid is working. What is the problem? I just can't get the nitrous to flow.
The bottle's closed?
Sorry, it's a bit tough to guess from the description you gave...
For example, you say the solenoid works - how do you know it's working, if you're not getting any nitrous through it?

What car, what year, what nitrous system? How was it installed? How did you try and test the nitrous flow? Do you have a window switch? Do you have a WOT switch? Do you hve a FPSS?

Here's some more details. Car is an '88 camaro with an '85 350 in it. Superpowershot system set at 150 hp. I just bought the car and have been going through it trying to figure it out. When i got the bottle filled i unhooked the nitrous solenoid from the carb plate, flipped the toggle switch, it worked. Sprayed a white mist for about 2 feet. Anyone have any ideas? I'm new to nitrous and I think I'm missing something just because I don't have that much knowledge of it.
Generally, you can't activate the nitrous solenoids by "flipping a switch".... you usually have a master switch that turns on the +12V to the system (including solenoids) and then have a bunch of safety devices wired in series, all of which must be closed in order to activate the system. These would include things like a WOT switch (do you have one - or is that the "toggle switch" you flipped?), a fuel pressure safety switch (do you have one?) and a window switch to keep the system from activating at too low an RPM and to shut the system off before you hit the rev limiter on the engine.
It sounds like you tried the system by disconnecting the solenoid from the plate, and nitrous sprayed. Then when you were running the engine with the system buttoned up, nitrous would not flow out of the solenoid. In general, is not likely the plate bars would be plugged up to the point where nothing would come out at 1,000psi. It seems more likely that the solenoid isn't opening.
