I am looking at upgrading my 2800 converter. I did my 12.3 @ 110Mph with a 1.85 60' at Milan on Eagle F1's. I have a new set of 275/40/17 Nitto Drag radials going on the car Saturday. I hope with going to a 3600-3800 converter and Nittos I can get the car down to a 1.6? 60' time and get the car into the high 11's. Bill
Actually I haven't updated my sig lately. New best is a 11.299 @ 118.59 on a 1.501 sixty foot. Race weight is still 3525 lbs.
Yank pro thruster 4400, 4.10 gears, spool, 26-11.50x16 ET streets.

A good 3800-4200 converter will over power the Nittos. I'd try the new MT ET street radials if I wanted to drive to the track.

You're about as far as you will get 'till you go 12 bolt and sticky tires so that you can launch hard.

Re: Went to the Track...

1bad86Z (Scott K) is about to put a 4.10 with solid crush sleeve and maybe ill get a TA cover in the near future and hopefully that will make it a little stronger. I have a deal with a guy to trade my BFG DRs for a set of MT streets 26/ 11.5/16s and than maybe i can launch better than a 2.XX 60 ft time.

Keep them at 21-22 psi so that they can spin a tiny little bit. Might save you rear so to speak
