Re: Went to the Track...
with good 60ft time 1.8 or so you should be deep in to the 12s. I have had enough with my crappy 60ft times. 2.0 being my best ever. Im gitting a 4.10 with T/A cover, pro stars with big oll mickey thompson street radials, LCAs and some other goodies to make the damn thing stick.
Re: Went to the Track...
Im gonna guess 12.5's at about 115mph on a good pass. but clearly theres tons of room for improvement with better air and some good traction. what are you shifting at? curious with that cam cause I just helped a buddy put that same cam in. and its time for a 4.10 huh?

I guess it all depends on the car. My car trapped at 110Mph and I ran a 12.3 with a 1.8? sixty time.

I ran 110mph at 13.6 in my old Z.
No traction.

It has to be an auto with a huge converter, right.
Do give details on the car.
Thanks,

Hey Al,
11.40's now............ Nice. What size converter are you running. What tires?
I am looking at upgrading my 2800 converter. I did my 12.3 @ 110Mph with a 1.85 60' at Milan on Eagle F1's. I have a new set of 275/40/17 Nitto Drag radials going on the car Saturday. I hope with going to a 3600-3800 converter and Nittos I can get the car down to a 1.6? 60' time and get the car into the high 11's.
Later,
Bill
