questions about the law

I will be moving to Flint, Michigan in October and was wondering what the laws and cops are like in this area. What tint is legal? What about emmisions? Any other info that could help me would be appreciated.

the back windows on a car are legal..
no side window tint.. unless its just the top 4"

Flint is not the nicest place to live, but there are some nice surrounding towns that you could look into once you get here. Depending on how much you like to drive you could look into Flushing, Clio, Birch Run, Owosso, Davison, Fenton, or Grand Blanc. These are all nice towns that are within 20-25 minutes from Flint. I grew up in Chesaning and that town is about 30 minutes from Flint.

Do they really enforce the top 4inch on side windows thing because thats kind of ridiculous.

I will move later but I am going to Kettering so I am there for now.
