WS6 Intake Bellows

Is there another option for the "accordian" style intake bellows found on Ram Air Trans Am's? It would seem that a smooth, but flexible piece of rubber would be better.

Do a search for WS6 bellows. you will find several threads with info about this. Most people replace the accordian style bellows with the Fernco sewer coupling.

Re: WS6 Intake Bellows

I went to Home Depot and bought a fernco rubber coupler for like $4.50. Bought the 3in to 3 inch and stretched it over. Looks real clean. Just had to drimmel a lil whole in the side for the opti vent.

Its hard to believe you would be able to notice a change that small.

Yes a fernco cuppler.. If it is too hard to place over the throttle body and MAF, try putting it in a pot with boiling water for a few minutes to "loosen" up the rubber. Once its soft and bendable, place it on the throttle body and MAF, and once it cools it will "harden" to its mold.

I didn't feel a difference, heh. And yeah, it was a PITA to stretch over the TB, so some pulling and prying with a screw driver helped
