I posted this on General Tech, got a little help but not much. Has anyone ever wired something from the PCM to the cabin?

Basically what I'm doing is trying to set up possibly the first sucessful SAFC II controller in a LT1 Camaro, I ran a search and nobody seems to want to do it or wishes to go with PCM Tuning.

Anyways I need to hack into the ECU harness, whether it be the actual PCM or wiring that is located already in the cabin. I looked at some wiring schematics but it's like reading Greek.

Anyone who has done the man switch or any ECU wiring at all's help is greatly appreciated, I really want to make this work, and pave the way so others can do this if all goes well.

PS This is same as gauge install I believe with the purple or purple/white wires

I have located what I need to do. I am hoping for the first sucessful installation on an F-Body (to my knowledge) for one of these. I assure you pics will be up by Sunday, as well as results.

 

so did this ever work?, I have an SAFC-II just sitting here from my other car and I have all the PCM wiring-So should I go for it or was it a failure?????

orbitalshock2k's last post was in March of 2007. His admin profile shows some sort of "activity" on the account in August 2007.

Best way to get an answer would probably be e-mail, but his user preferences are set to not show his e-mail address.
