OPTI to PCM wire?

OPTI to PCM wire?
Whoah, tell me this is wrong.
pn 12130319 costs $67. I am hoping that it means the ENTIRE chassis wiring for the engine....
Because what I have in my hand is a foot long stretch of 4 wires that go to the opti from the PCM.
This piece connects with a large piece to the rest of the wiring at about mid-way back on the intake and the other end is that long connector that goes into the opti-spark itself on the upper passenger side.
Does anyone know the correct part number for this piece? Because even GM should only be listing it for about $25 and not the $116 I saw at gmpartsdirect.com
BTW - I need to replace it because the 4 pins at the end that go to the opti are corroded.... hence the cause for my #6 and #8 plugs not to be firing.... I hope!

Sorry bud, that's the ripoff price GM wants for that little stretch of wires and two connectors. I needed to replace mine because the wires were coming out of the connector on the opti end. Ended up ripping one of an LT1 in a junkyard.

That is the right part # and price. I don't think it is going to fix the problem with only 2 cylinders not firing. You could be getting trouble codes from the opti and it might fix that, but sounds like you have a secondary ignition problem that is in the spark plugs, plug wires or opti cap and rotor section.

Brett, that IS the correct price, actually better than average for that little stretch of wiring. You know, I did have one left over, but I had to tear it all up to connect the DFI harness to the new style opti.
BTW, of those 4 pins on the opti, there is nothing specific that has to do with the 6 or 8 cylinder. Since we pulled the #6 and 8 plugs and they were WHITE, that means you're getting spark, but no FUEL. I wasn't getting spark on my #6, and if you wanna see a BLACK plug, come over. That's the symptom of no spark.

Well, I am going to try to clean up those ends before I buy a new stretch. And I DO have a new opti in there now, so maybe the problem has passed because the old one was corroded. With some luck you and I will get the car done on Sunday and fire it up after its.......almost 3 month hiadus.

hahaha, this is great. I have a `95 opti with the LONG plug on the 4-wire pigtail that goes to the ECM. I went to the dealership to purchase the pigtail in upstate NY and they quoted me $150. Even the parts guy laughed. I ended up stealing the plug from another `95. I got the wirepins that go inside the opti plug from autozone from another GM-type alternator plug ($3 a piece) and soldered my own pigtail together. Wow, $9 spent.
