Yes.
The MSD-6T is simply a slightly more rugged version of the MSD-6A with vibration mounts. A -6A is more than adequate. You can also get a "harness" from MSD that makes it easy to install, with no splicing. You need to specify dual-connector (93-95) or single-connector (96/97) coil for the harness.
Some people feel the added spark of the MSD boxes has a negative affect on the OptiSpark, but I ran the MSD-6A for 50K miles and never had any problem with the cap/rotor section of the Opti.
