Will I Benifit at All?
Will I Benifit at All?
hey im considering getting a new magnaflow catback for me car, the reason i want to do this is because i will need new tips by the end of winter, if it ever snow here , so here is the deal, after my headers it goes from my 3 in y pipe to 2 1/4 in piping, into my flowmaster. so im looking at the full 3 inch magnaflow exhaust system, is it worth the 280 bucks for the catback? or should i just get true duals, if i want to get true duals i want to have dual exits as well, i would get new pipes from my headers to a x pipe into dual bullets, and then over the axle and out the back. is there anyway to run a pipe over the axle on the drivers side it looked like there was alot of crap there. i know the true duals topic has been posted tons. these are the questions im wondering about here,
1. Will I Notice a differnce with the 3 inch Magnaflow.
2. Say Screw it and get True Duals?
3. Can i get a pipe over the axle on the drivers side?

Well I'll try because no one else has.
1. Yes there will be a difference but I don't know if you'll notice it because you already have a cat-back system on your car.
2. and 3. go together because if your gonna run true duals they will go over the rear axle. I haven't seen them any other way though I'm sure someone has.
I would say screw it and get the true duals. I didn't because of my lowering kit.

A lot of people lately have ran the x-pipe into bullets, and then turndowns. The most expensive part of the true duals seems to be making room to get the pipes to fit over the rear axle and exit out the back. If you dont care about not having exhaust tips, this might be a better option.
