Who all used UNIVERSAL plug wires?

What all is involved on making these work, especially with the opti? Is ir a major PITA. I was going to mostly reassemble my motor before putting it back in so I think that might simplify it a little. Thanks!

I used the Taylors with the OTVC kit from Thunder. You do have to trial fit, cut and crimp, but its not too bad. Make sure you get one of the crimping tools, and a tube of silicone lube. The end result is very nice.

It's simple and straight forward... just make sure you get the right kit that has the plug boot connectors the LT-1 needs.

So I can just use regular wire crimpers right? I found some pretty cool looking Moroso looms that I haven't seen before and was going to give them a try. I saw that MSD or Mallory has a 25' roll of their wire for like $35 I think.

You have to get the "opti ends" for the wires. I don't know where you can buy them (there are some places, but they are kind of hard to find). Some people say that the opti ends are a pain to install. I would recommed getting the MSD wires that already have the opti ends installed. You just cut them to length and install the plug ends. The kit is like $75 dollars, but includes the plug ends, boots, crimping tool, dielectric grease, more wire than you could ever use, and the opti ends (already installed). It is not going to be too much cheaper to buy the parts seperately.
