where to jack the motor from?

where to jack the motor from?

Im replacing my motor mounts , due to a header install, the drivers side is in just need to put the pass side on after the mounts. my question is where should i put the blocks to jack the motor up? some said under the accs. bracket by the crank but i dont know if it will balance. also which side should i start on? thanks

anyone jack the motor up before? can i jack it under the oil pan?

I always do, block of wood at the back of the pan, the bottom of the sump

good deal, thanks for the help. also does anyone know what size socket to use on that bolt , i tried std. but none seem to fit, and locating deep well metric will be a challenge.
