I'm not even in the double digits, ha. I currently get 6 miles per gallon in the city and 10 miles per gallon on the highway while shifting at 2,000 RPMs at most... And I still have to fill up every other day.

My mods include:

- Racing injectors
- Fuel pressure regulator
- 3:73 gears
- Tune
- Straight pipes after the cats (I'm sure this really kills the M.P.G. )

Note: I only included the mods that have dramastically affected my M.P.G. I'm sure there's more but I'm to tired to think of them all.
hahah wow I cant believe how accepting you are of those low numbers, something is obviously wrong dude cause it aint your mods doing that to you.

8 city, 10 highway. New set up this year should be expensive at the pump. I need a hook up on 104.

What, exactly, are 'racing injectors'?

13-16 street - 180-200 miles between fillups.
18-20 hwy - a trip from here to Tulsa is 280miles and it takes pretty much every ounce of fuel in my tank.

Depending how abusive I am that week LOL
Granted, my TC is unlocked under 62mph so street driving provides quite a bit of slip.

I get 20-21 mpg city and 28-29 highway. Not too bad for a car that has 182k on it and mostly bolt ons. I did not see a drop in mpg when I went to 3.73's, but I also
got new fuel injectors, so I think the two negated each other from a economy standpoint. And yes I love my 6 speed.

Ha they're not really called racing injectors, I just didn't feel like typing everything out and all the mods out either. If you want a complete list of mods then here...

- Straight pipes from the cat back
- Cold Air Intake
- SPEC Stage III Clutch
- Alluminum Lightweight Flywheel
- 3:73 Gears
- Fuel Pressure Regulator
- 60 Pound Mototron Injectors
- Tuned for no top end
- No Governor
- No Rev Limiter
- Car has been lowered 2.5"
- R17/12/315 Tires in the back
- R17/10/285 Tires in the front

Since this is a 30th Anniversay clone, the kid who cloned it swapped motors and transmissions but left the V6 computer in... Ha, why?

I actually had an SLP Loudmouth exhaust that had 7 exhaust leaks from when the 17 year old before me put it on and that's when I was getting 6 MPG and it fell off when I tried pulling up my drive way because it got caught on the curb... Now I've been getting between 10-12 MPG city.

I'm about to put a Pypes exhaust system on in about an hour or two... Lets see what this does.

I get 20 combined - I can't determine what I get city/highway, because I drive
a combination of the two every day.

why the hell would u put 60 pound injectors in an otherwise stock car? are you nuts?

and u should be worried about only getting 6 MILES PER GALLON. My car gets 26 on the hwy and roughly 15 in the city with all the mods on her.

Take those 60 lbers out of there, hell, I'll sell you a set of 8 stock injectors for cheap, man. Those 60 lbers are probably causing all sorts of issues! PM me if you want to talk.

24-25 mpg highway. Even at 50/50 city/highway never averaged under 20 mpg.

Nobody else caught that "V6 computer" running the "motor swap"??? I didnt think the v6 computers were reprogramable..... But he says it was tuned for topend power and no governor or rev limiter.

Let me get this straight.... you are running 60 #/HR Motron injectors with a V6 PCM on a basically stock LT1? Are they high impedance or low impedance injectors? If low impedance, what external driver converter are you running?

What does "tuned for no top end" mean? If its tuned for no top end, why would you remove the rev limiter? Is this the same setup you claim in another thread it pulling 155 MPH at the top of 4th gear, running 0-60 MPH in 4.0 seconds, and pulling 1.6-sec 60-fts?

And you have a fuel pressure regulator (as we all do). Is it the stock regulator, or an adjustable? If adjustable, what pressure are you set at?

And you are running "R17/12/315" tires in the back, and "R17/10/285" tires in the front. What sizing system is that based on? Most people run 275/40-17 or 285/40-17 on the front, and 315/35-17 on the back with that combo.
