What symptoms with a bad MAF.

What symptoms do a bad MAF cause? I have no codes but the car doesnt respond to any MAF changes in LT1edit and has a slight bucking or miss from 1500-3000. What does this sound like?

Well I can tell you this, I had my car scanned with autotap last weekend, apparently my GMAF isn't working that I own.
Its making me run in Speed density mode of coarse leaving the pcm making educated guesses on how much air is flowing in trying to create the right A/F mixture.
The only thing that I saw is that it caused a lean condition according to the O2 numbers...I don't have the numbers with me at the office but I can post them later when I get home.
So I don't know what the symptoms of a "bad MAF" is but I do know what its like not to even have the MAF working . I know I don't get any stumbles what so ever and it pulls all the way up through the power band just fine. This is probably useless information but TTT for you anyways because I would like to know also.

Cool, Ill let you know rich, my only basis of this suspiscion is from what Bob told me. He said the car didnt respond at all to changes to the MAF tables on the dyno.

A quick swap maybe worth a try.

I had an 88 IROC 350 and the MAF went bad on it, I pulled into work and backing into a space car starts sputtering and popping and running damn poor, could barely keep it going. Pulled the connector on the maf and bingo! check engine light and smooth running thanks to limp home mode. I bought a new (well reman) maf and all was cured.

you say "limp home mode" but a lot of guys have had positive results by disconnecting the MAF. I did and it seemed a little peppier, but that could be in my head....
