Angry What plug wires should i get??

I ordered a set of Accel 300+ from jegs, just got them in...noticed that they were for a) the wrong part number (didn't match what the catalog said) and b) they said they didn't have a set for my LT1 that went over the valve cover.

i don't want to get thunder racing's kit because I don't like taylor wires, i want a good wire, but I want one that i can route over my valve covers. anyone know of the wire and part #?

i would get magnecor's if i have to, but i'd kinda like to keep the $$ down to under $100 for wires...lol

i kinda need this help, asap.

thanks

phil

I was just going to recommend the Magnecor's

Everyone always raves about the taylor and accel's...

But i went with Magnecor's are they were well worth it.
Plus i got a decent deal on them on the board

I have MSDs, so no complaints. I think the best choices for a stock manifold car are the stockers, MSD or Taylors. For a car with headers, taylors or MSDs seem to do the trick fine

You can use pretty much any 'universal' kit as long as you buy Opti ends. I think they're like $13 over at Thunder.

i have MSDs and they seem to be great wires. i have tried and failed with taylors... magnacores were too expensive for plug wires IMO.

MSD's are a great fit.. I dunno bout over the top though. I put mine is all the stock places. I'm sure you could get the universal kit and cut to fit.

I used the cut to length MSD wires.. the opti ends are already crimped on, all you have to do is crimp on the plug connection and slide the boot over it.. very simple. They seem to be good wires, I've had no problems with mine.

Another vote for Magnecor wires. Expensive though.
