I'm using 15w 50 dino oil. I have a "blue smoke" problem with my new engine (2000 miles). But I have used 10w 40 sysntetic and oil pressure was the same.

That is wierd. Maybe I am "blowing smoke"? Anyone else ever seen a car with the same OP cold and warm? What pump are you using? What pressure relief spring? Is the motor set up very "tight"? What I am getting at: is it pumping enough oil relative to the resistance that it is always bypassing, even at idle? In that case, the constant pressure is just a function of the relief valve.

I couldn't solve the "blue smoke" problem. I will change the valve seals (came rubber ones with AFR heads). The engine was built at Thunderracing and it was built for a 200 shot nitrous. I didn't use nitrous, but I think the blue smoke coming from the rings? I'm using High Volume Pump with 6qt Canton oil Pan.
