What octane rating of gas is recommend for the LT1?

I'm with Speed_demon24 on this. I once put in 87 just to see what would happen. I only got 190 miles to that tank, driving the same way I do with our 91 premium. Usually with 91 I get around 230-240. Performance sucked as well.

Use premium.

I will try the 91 and see if it makes a difference, I was getting around 18mpg between city and some highway driving with the 87. Wont be until spring though, car is off the road for the winter.
