Well the bird is running after much sacrafice....

Well, I finally got the bird on the road after having to replace the motor in it. She runs and drives but needs a lot of small work.

As of now most everything has been put on hold that cost money as I lost my job and waiting for unemployment to kick in.

A few questions,

The Water Temp Guage was leaking so I replaced it with an expandable freeze plug. I have an after market guage but it has a long brass piece and then some fittings. Where does this go?

Second, What is the bolt size for the trans mount? Im tired of hearing it bang across the crossmember lol.

Also, do they make premade trans tube lines? I tried cutting corners and used rubber trans line and it leaks...

Anyways, including the price of the car, Ive sunk $1300 into it not counting registration and plates. Not bad for a 200HP/245lb V8 Firebird formula.

You need to find a parts car to get them cheap.

Yes, seemed like there was some puncture holes in it. Possibly from when I installed through the top.

Do V6 4l60e Trans lines work or do they have to be off a V8?

Then why wouldn't you just buy a new coolant temp sensor for the gauge and install it? Cheap part, easy to screw into the driver's side head. What do you mean by "when I installed through the top."? Through the top of what?
