1993 Firehawk dyno predictions?

I am wondering what the car will actually do on the dyno since I just put my custom tune in from PCMforless. Car runs really strong now. Stayed ahead of a friends stock 05 GTO from a dig by a length to about 90 then let off.

I have KN filter, 160 stat, Mac midlengths, Mac ypipe, 3" ORP, PCMforeless tune. Seems like the tune did make a difference.
Alvin did a great job on the tune.

Car is a 1993 Firehawk, M6, 323 gears.

Your thoughts on RWHP dyno #'s ? I will be dynoing soon.

275 rwhp / 295 tq on a dynojet. Make sure they track your a/f ratio.

275 I put down 281 rwhp with a 1995 automatic Formula, with just a 2 3/4" Borla Ypipe, 160 stat and KN filter. I am hoping at least 300 rwhp with the Firehawk. I think with KN Filter, 160 stat, Mac Midlength headers, 3" ORP, Hooker Areo Muffler. PCMforless tune, I should be good for 25-30 hp Most LT1 Firehawk M6's that I have read about dyno 270- 275 with no mods.

I will post results when I get my car dynoed. I got a buddy that dynoed 314 rwhp with a 96 WS6 Formula M6 with Mid length pacesetter headers, 160 stat, and PCMforless tune.

LT1-XJS Looking at your mods then mine it looks to me that we are very close in rwhp.
You dynoed 309 rwhp and predict mine to 275 rwhp. I dont understand your
logic on this. In fact my exhaust should make more power than yours basing that on shorties vs mid-lengths power output. Which should offset or equal your 1.7 rockers power gain. We both have a tune from Alvin. I have a manual tranny and u have a automatic. My power should be very close to yours.

Yours-asp pullies, csi, 1.7 scorpions,26918 springs, transgo, yank s/s 3600, 3:54 gear, homemade shorties, dr. gas x, alvin's tune, 309 rwhp, 336 tq

Mine -1993 SLP Firehawk, KN air filter, 160 stat, Mac mid-lengths, 2 1/2" Mac yipe into a 3" ORP, Hooker Areo Muffler, M6, PCMforless tune by Alvin. Dyno ?

Re: 1993 Firehawk dyno predictions?

I run a true dual with an X pipe, the system produced 17 rwhp, 16 tq on the dyno. I have seen dyno results from Pacesetter longtubes and they run in the 16-19 rwhp range. I also run the ASP light weight balancer set, an electric water pump, 160 stat, good valve springs, a stable 7/16 valve train and 1.7 rockers. Coupled with a Yank SS that sheds another 18 lbs of rotating mass. I have run the 1/8 in 8.1 @ 84 mph with the 1/4 ending 12.82 @ 104 mph, just shy of 3900 lbs. At 300 rwhp, the f-body should run 12.5x's easily. Get some track time after your dyno session.
