Welding the car

I am going to be doing some welding on the car, should I be fine with just pulling the battery cables, or should I take out the computer and/or other things?

Gas welding? Don't need to remove anything other than be conscious of the heat. Electric welding? Pull the cables off the battery, pull the PCM. Don't know about fancy stereo stuff, since I'm not into it. But I'd pull it if I had it.

Welded as is here. Couldn't hurt to pull the battery though. Don't sweat it too much.
