Unfortunately, seems to be a few newcomers that don’t agree. All I can do is ignore them, although I will continue to carry out my “moderator” responsibilities, and keep an eye on their behavior. Maybe it's time to retire and spend my time doing something more enjoyable.

Update
Pan out, reset oil pickup (it was low had dropped) used loctite for pressed fits and reset height. Pan back in, timing set replaced timing cover back on, replaced oil level sensor and harness.
Been working on it a few hours every weekend so still a way to go
Next move tear ACCEL distributor apart loctite screws and reseal. It did come sealed already in the package.
Next weekend install new seals, opti, wtr pump and put the various hoses and electrical connectors back on
So far so good.

Update:
Been working on it a few hours every weekend, I work out of town so only home on weekends.
Today test started it and she fired right up and ran smooth no misses.. I didn't run it too long as I have not installed the water pump yet.
Feeling satisfied.
Next steps:
Unhook everything, apply dielectric grease to the spark plug & coil wires, coat the electrical connectors with same grease (not too much), install water pump and plumbing take one long look at everything and make sure nothing is missing or not correct.
Some things that I got to take care of or found:
oil pick up had dropped down some, dipstick tube hold down bolt was missing, one bolt was missing on my torque converter inspection housing, inside oil pan was sludge free (shows I change the oil regularly), repaired oil level sensor wiring (I had damaged it years ago), oil pan gasket was leaking and the main thing is the satisfaction I still at 53 years old have the ability to climb in, over and under a car and I still have the wits.

I’m also 53. It certainly seems to be a bit more challenging getting in & out of my ‘94 than I recall from 25 years ago when it was my daily driver, and even more so after lowering it. I’m not gonna lie. Sometimes I roll out.

Re: water pump failure doing surgery at 141k miles
After many weekends (with a two week break to go to Memphis and the company family day) finally got it back together. Started right up, no codes no misses no leaks and the dreaded LT1 oil pressure drop when going wide open throttle is now gone.
